This spring on our mini-interview series, we are excited to be joined by recent Nurse Practitioner graduate, Priya Bains. Join us as we learn more about her most recent publication, Screening Older Adult Men for Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm: A Scoping Review. We will also hear from her experiences with writing during her graduate program at the University of British Columbia, education background and what led her to pursue her current work. About our guest
Priya Bain’s nursing journey began in 2015 when she graduated from Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, BC. As a registered nurse, she worked at Abbotsford Regional Hospital in the Cardiac Care Unit. This role provided her opportunities in outpatient care, leadership, and mentorship. She recently graduated from the Nurse Practitioner program at the University of British Columbia, and now practices at a primary care clinic in Surrey, BC.
